Jason Kangal has worked in the DC Real Estate market for many years focusing on the properties other people overlook. He has spent the last decade guiding families, first time home buyers, and investors through the process of buying and selling homes in the D.C. metro area. This has provided him with a strong belief in client services, and organizational routine. He imparts this belief to the agents and employees of Kangal Real Estate.
Prior to opening Kangal Real Estate Jason worked with non-profit, social justice organizations, both locally and nationally. While working on social justice programs he focused on project management, cross organizational and interdepartmental management and coordination.
"I don't want us to just sell to our clients," Jason states. "I see us more as real estate consultants. We work for the client's interest, not our own. This means if it isn’t a good match for you, I will advise you not to follow through with the transaction. I’m working for your long term interests, not my own because in the long term, satisfying your interests is what makes us successful."
Kelly Putz is one of one of our original agents and is licensed in DC, Maryland and Virginia. Kelly comes to Kangal Real Estate after working with the Senate on Capitol Hill. As a transplant, she has loved the city since moving here from Tupelo, Mississippi, and has made a point of learning everything she can about the layout and neighborhoods of this historic area and its outlying suburbs.
"I love to walk through the entire purchasing process with all my clients, working with them as they choose an area, investigating neighborhoods and schools, finding just the perfect home for their family. As a mom myself, I love working with the needs of families at all stages in their lives. I like working for a family run business and I like to think of all my customers as family."
Kelly lives in suburban Maryland with her family.
Ted Davis has worked in customer service and sales industry for most of his working career. This experience working in communities outside the beltway along the 95 corridor gives him the skills needed to assist buyers with a suburban perspective. From the major developments, commuting issues and the needs of suburban families, Ted works with his clients to find the areas, amenities and communities that fit the needs of his clients.
"When I started to look for real estate companies, I looked for an environment that synced with my own philosophy of customer and client first. My goal is not to just be a Real Estate agent but to serve clients as a real estate consultant throughout their lives."
Ted currently makes his home in Spotsylvania, where he lives with his wife and four children.
David Corson has lived in D.C. for many years and has lived and experienced the benefits and drawbacks of city development. He has a strong interest in seeing the changes that revitalization can bring and is interested in the ways such changes affect neighborhoods and the people within them. David and his partner currently live in the U Street/Shaw area and are active in the community. He has participated in various development projects such as the Howard Theater, Radio One, and the Jazz on Florida as well as other projects throughout the city.
“I believe strongly in a sense of neighborhood. When you are buying a home, you are not just picking a house; you are picking a neighborhood and the community you will be a part of. I love to work with clients as they choose the perfect home in the perfect place just for them.”
David is licensed in Virginia and DC
